My name is Paisley, Paisley Rosebud to be exact.
My dad calls me his little chupacabra for fun not because of my attitude. I am a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix (more pomeranian than chihuahua). I live with my 4 humans, my mom, dad, and their 2 boys. I also live with 2 yellow labs and a long haired dachshund.
Out of all of them, I would have to say that my mom is my favorite. She takes me everywhere she goes and loves me very much. You might even say she spoils me. In return, I make her very happy.
I came in to mom's life for a very special reason. You see, mom is surrounded by all of these boys, boy stuff, boy noises, boys boys boys. She needed a girl to keep her company.
So, one day she called about some puppies (me and my two sisters). She talked dad in to coming just "to look". We dogs know all about this "just looking" business that you humans do. I knew I had to put my best paw forward. I came running out to see them. You see, along with being cute, I am quite spunky. I ran right up to the youngest boy's lap and pranced and wiggled. Then I ran over to my mom and straight into her heart.
It has been a wonderful journey ever since. The first night I slept in a crate. How uncivilized! By the next night, mom had come to her senses and realized I was a princess and should be sleeping with her. How could she resist?!?
